Daily Racing Form correspondent Dave Grening once again featured a stakes-winning Denali Sales graduate in his report from New York. BORROWING BASE won the 138th running of the Ladies Handicap by three lengths, going away. The five-year-old daughter of Personal Flag/BonitaChica, by Turkoman, boosted her earnings past $400,000 with the victory. She was bred in New York by Gallagher’s Stud, and sold for $60,000 at the Saratoga New York Preferred Yearling Sale.
