INTERNATIONAL G2 WEEKEND FOR DENALI GRADS

Denali Sales graduates earned Grade 2 blacktype on both sides of the Atlantic Aug. 23-24. At Del Mar, multiple Graded stakes winner SPRING HOUSE earned an automatic berth in the Breeders' Cup starting gate, with an easy victory in the $250,000 Del Mar H.-G2. Racing for longtime client R. D. Hubbard, SPRING HOUSE set a new course record, and boosted his earnings to $718,284. Earlier this year, he won the San Luis Obispo H.-G2 at Santa Anita, and last year the Carleton F. Burke H.-G3. He is a Keeneland September graduate.
At Deauville, MAD RUSH was second by a short neck in the Prix Kergorlay-G2. Winner or placed in all his starts, this was the first stakes performance by the son of Lemon Drop Kid. MAD RUSH races for longtime client Earle Mack, and is a Keeneland September graduate.
Denali sales consignments have produced 44 stakes horses in 2008.
