Keertana Foals a Tapit Filly

Early Wednesday morning our resident mare Keertana foaled a healthy grey filly by leading sire Tapit. This is the second foal for Keertana, who earned just over a million dollars on the race track with multiple graded stakes wins including the G3 Regret S, G3 Grey Goose Bewitch S, G3 Louisville H, etc. 

The 2006 dark bay mare by Johar is from the family of  Graded Stakes winner Snow Top Mountain and Stakes Winner Diversy Harbor. Keertana was purchased in the 2013 Keeneland January Sale for $1M in addition to the Tapit filly produced a now yearling colt by Tapit in 2014. Tapit, who stands at Gainesway Farm in Lexington, was the leading sire in 2014 with progeny earnings of $18.7M and will stand the 2015 breeding season for $300,000.
