Denali Sales Grad FLEXIBILITY on the Derby Trail with G3 Jerome S. win
Monday, January 04, 2016
William H. Lawrence and Klaravich Stable’s FLEXIBILITY (Bluegrass Cat), a $80,000 Fasig Tipton New York August yearling from the Denali Stud consignment, has won the Grade 3 Jerome Stakes. A 1 3/4 length winner in his first start, a MSW at Belmont Park in October, the colt showed early promise and ran next in the G2 Nashua S. for trainer Chad Brown. He completed the exacta with highly touted Mohaymen, and did the same in the pair’s next start in the G2 Remsen S. With that nemesis running down in Florida, FLEXIBILITY made his third Graded Stakes start a winning one, coming in ahead of the field by 4 1/4 lengths. He now has career earnings of $256K and we look forward to watching him run this spring.
