Denali Sells $1.05M Curlin filly Book 1 Session 2 of Keeneland September

Topping Shadwell’s seven purchases for $4.61 million were two seven-figure yearlings—Hip 368, a $1.05 million Curlin filly out of grade 1 winner Dreaming of Julia consigned by Denali Stud, agent for Stonestreet Bred & Raised.

“She was a ‘wow’ filly,” Denali’s Conrad Bandoroff said of the Curlin filly. “She was balanced, she had quality, she oozed class. That’s an amazing filly, and she’s going to get every chance.”

“She’s a super filly,” Gainesway’s Michael Hernon said of the daughter of War Front. “She has thrived every day. I’ve had a great amount of confidence in her. She will run.”
