Denail Stud had the first seven-figure offering during Day 2 of the Keeneland September Yearling sale when a colt by War Front brought a winning bid of $1.3 million from Coolmore’s M. V. Magnier.
The price was the highest paid at that point through the first two days of the sale.

Bred in Kentucky by Dattt Farm, the bay is out of the A. P. Indy mare Score, dam of the Grade 2-placed Timely Tally. Score is a half-sister to $1.1 million earner and multiple Grade 1 winner Educated Risk.

“He was a beautiful horse, he had a real pedigree,” Craig Bandoroff said of the colt, who was cataloged as his No. 228. “We’ve all heard it: you’ve got to tick the boxes, and he ticked the boxes. And it’s a hard, hard thing to do. I thought he had a chance to bring more. But everybody here vetted him, and that’s what he’s worth.”
