Denali Stud’s consignment of 135 yearlings during the September 8-21 Keeneland Sale includes three fillies and a pair of colts during the first day of the sale.

Hip No. 108 will be the first of Denali’s offerings to go through the ring. The dark bay colt by Smart Strike is out of the stakes winner My Miss Storm Cat, making him a full brother to My Miss Aurelia, the champion 2-year-old filly of 2011 and a three-time Grade 1 winner of more than $2.4 million.

A filly by Elusive Quality is cataloged as hip No. 116. The dark bay juvenile is out of the unraced Unbridled’s Song mare Night and Day, who is a daughter of Hall of Famer Serena’s Song. She is the dam of five stakes winners, highlighted by Grade 2 winners Grand Reward and Harlington.

Hip No. 142 is by the top sire Tiznow. The gray or roan filly is out of the A. P. Indy mare Parris Hill and from the illustrious family of champions Take Charge Lady, two-time winner of the Grade 1 Spinster and Will Take Charge, champion 3-year-old colt and winner of $3.7 million.

Leading young sire Hard Spun is the sire of hip No. 151, a colt out of the multiple graded stakes-placed mare Play Ballado. She is the dam of the Hard Spun filly Sweet Seventeen, winner of the Busher S.

Tiznow is also the sire of the filly cataloged as hip No. 188. The bay filly is a half-sister to Sharp Cat S. winner Foxy Danseur out of the Wild Again mare Ravish Me.
